Small Business Tracker Deluxe v2.0 incorporates all of the new features added to Inventory Tracker Plus since version 3.0

Inventory Tracker Plus version 3.2.1 has some minor improvements:

* Changed the Add Quantity to Inventory Tracker dialog to ask just for amount to be added rather than the new total quantity. If the Purchase Date is not the current date, you will be asked if you want to update the Date.

* On Invoice Creator records that contain an amount in the % Tax field (from previous versions of the software) the new Set Tax Info button is hidden and that feature is disabled, so that the tax for that Invoice is calculated as it was before the update.

* New Invoice Creator records now always use the new Set Tax Info feature.

* Improvements to Invoice Creator's Reports

* A new SN option has been added to the Set Tax Info window, so you can specify taxes to be added to the amounts in the Shipping and Notes fields.

* Restored the Inventory Tracker Assembly Type which is used to create groups or packages of other items with special pricing.

* Other minor improvements.

Inventory Tracker Plus version 3.2.0 had the following improvements:

* Added multiple taxes feature that allows you to specify up to 3 different taxes and which Inventory Items they apply to. You can specify the name and tax rate for any of three different tax types in the new Set Tax Info window accessible from Invoice Creator. You can also specify, for each tax type, which of the six different Inventory Types (Inventory Items, Flat Rate Labor, Hourly Labor, Other Charges, Rental Items, Rental Quantity) you want taxes added to the Invoice.

* In Preferences you will now find a Tablet option. The Tablet option causes all windows to be opened, one at a time, in the top left of the screen. This is best for users using logmein.com to access this software on their Tablets.

* Other minor improvements.

Inventory Tracker Plus version 3.1.0 has the following improvements:

* Clicking a line for an Inventory Item, Other Charge or Hourly item in Invoice Creator now shows both a Delete Line and an Edit button. So you can now easily change the quantity of most items in an Invoice. Backorders, if any for that item, must be deleted first and can't be created with the Edit button.

* Improvements to Inventory Tracker's and Invoice Creator's Reports.

* Export files can now be saved in CSV format.

* Other minor improvements.

Inventory Tracker Plus version 3.0.1 had the following improvements:

* Added a Quote feature. Now you can create an Invoice Creator record without actually removing items from inventory until you change Quote to Invoice. Near the middle of the right side of the Invoice Creator window are the Quote and Invoice options. If you choose Quote, an item added to the Product(s) field is not removed from inventory until the Invoice button is clicked. If you never create Quotes this feature can be hidden by clicking Prefs, then Invoice Creator Prefs, and then disabling the Show Quote Option.

* Added Hide Retail Prices option to Invoice Creator Preferences.

* Improved Move Totals to Right in invoices feature

* Other minor improvements.

Small Business Tracker Deluxe v1.9.8.9 incorporates all of the new features added to Inventory Tracker Plus since version 2.9.6

Only minor changes have been made to Activity & Expense Tracker.

Inventory Tracker Plus v2.9.8.4

* In Invoice Creator, the Invoice Date is now separate from the Payment Date. If no Payment Date is specified when you click Add Product to Invoice you will be asked for an Invoice Date. When you click Create Invoice, if there is no Amount Paid, you will be asked if you want to add a Payment. If no payment is added, the Invoice Date will be used.

* If you change the label for a Misc field in Inventory Tracker Preferences, you will be asked if you want to remove all the previously entered data in that field.

* The Find field in the Go To Contact dialog is now always initially empty.

* Changing a name in Contact Tracker, now updates Invoice Creator and Inventory Tracker.

* Sort By Date or Invoice # options have been added to Customer Account window. Also, there is now an option to print only 1 Page. You will need to specify the number of lines in the report (plus totals) that equals one page.

* Fixed problem computing the Invoice Total when a Discount was applied to a Labor Charge or Other Charge.

Inventory Tracker Plus v2.9.8.3 (.1 & .2 were internal releases)

* In Expense Tracker there is a new Automatically Duplicate Expense (ADE) option. If you want the record automatically duplicated each month because it is a recurring expense then click the ADE button and then enable the Automatically Duplicate This Expense Each Month option. Then when you click the Add New Expense Now button, all records with this option enabled will be duplicated for the current month.

* Use your barcode scanner to enter a Stock Number in Inventory Tracker.

* When you click the Add Product to Invoice button in Invoice Creator to add Inventory Items, you will first be asked if you want to add an Inventory Item (including Assemblies) or an Other Item type. If you choose Inventory Item you will next be asked if you want to Enter or Scan a Stock Number or pick an item from a list. You can go directly to this option by clicking the Add Product to Invoice button with the ctrl or command key held down or by pressing F2.

* Now you can use your barcode scanner to add a Stock Number to an invoice.

* Invoice Creator Prefs had the following new options:

* Added Ask for Type when displaying Product List? option to Invoice Creator Prefs. The choices are Always Ask or I only have Inventory items. When you click New in Inventory Tracker, these settings determine what Type of Inventory record you can create.

* When you click Add Product to Invoice in Invoice Creator, you will have the option of displaying different Types of inventory lists. The I only have Inventory items option in Invoice Creator Prefs will suppress this dialog.

Inventory Tracker Plus v2.9.7.1

This version has the following improvements:

* Invoices and Payments from Invoice Creator are now displayed in a Customer Account table which has columns for Dates, Invoice #s, Sub Totals for Sales, Services, Other charges, Taxes, and Total Due, as well as Payments, Balances Due and Totals for each column. This table can be accessed from either Invoice Creator or Contact Tracker.

* New Lot Numbers feature keeps track of each new purchase. The Lot Number is added to the Date, Qty, Price Sold field in Inventory Tracker so you can quickly locate customers who received certain shipments.

* The miscellaneous description fields in Inventory Tracker can now be changed to a Category field (with a corresponding Add/Select menu), or a Location field (with a corresponding Add/Select menu), or a Serial Number field, or used for any other purpose. The controls for this are included in a new Inventory Tracker Preferences window accessed by clicking Prefs in Inventory Tracker.

* Many improvements have been made to the Assemblies feature, which can be used to combine other items, or products, into new products.

* When you set an Expense Tracker record to Tax Deductible, the Expense type is now added to the Tax Deductible Expenses list and subsequent records for that Expense Type will always be treated as Tax Deductible.

* Improvements to Inventory Tracker and Invoice Creator Reports.

This version has the following improvements:

* When the Add Product to Invoice button is clicked you will be asked if you want to rebuild the Inventory List if the number of Inventory items is greater than 500. You can change this number by changing the Ask to Rebuild Inventory Item List option. The Always option will always rebuild the list and you will never see this dialog. There is also a Rebuild Now button.

* Improved the Show Only Items NOT Sold as of the End Date report in Inventory Tracker Reports.

* When you change the Item Description in Inventory Tracker you are now asked if you want to update Invoice Creator with the new description.

* A new preference has been added to the Formats section of Prefs that allows you to choose to Add leading zeros to numbers in reports and invoices. This lines up the decimals in the numbers for easier reading.

* You can add Notes to Invoices in Invoice Creator again.

* In Invoice Creator when you click Add Product to Invoice, if you had more than 50 items in inventory you got a message asking if you wanted to rebuild the inventory list. The number has been raised to 500. If you feel this number is now too high and you are waiting for the list to be regenerated a lot, please let us know and we'll adjust it again.

* If you add a Discount to an Invoice Creator record, both the percent and amount of the discount are now included on the Invoice and in Invoice Reports.

* In Invoice Tracker, when you click Add Quantity you are asked if you want to discontinuing the item. If you answer Yes, "disc" is put into the Reorder field and you can't create Purchase Orders for that item. The discontinued item will never show up in an Items to be Reordered report either.

* Return Address feature in Envelope section of Form Letter window fixed.

Changes in these versions:

* Activity & Expense Tracker no longer offers an Invoice # that has already been used in either Invoice tracker or Activity & Expense Tracker.

* In Activity & Expense Invoice Tracker the user is now stepped through the required fields when they click New..

* In Activity & Expense Invoice Tracker, adding or deleting payments from Partials field now adds or deletes the Date Paid depending on the Balance Due.

* Removed Duplicate Record feature in Activity & Expense tracker because it caused serious problems.

* Inventory Product Numbers must now be unique (which solved a few other problems). You can have more than one Inventory record for the same product but they must have unique product numbers. letters are still allowed. When adding Quantity to an existing record, if the Cost Each is different you are prompted to create a Duplicate Inventory Tracker record with a new Stock Number. This solves the problem of cost averaging which was messy.

* When a customer number, product number or invoice number is changed, all three databases are now updated.

* The functionality of the Edit buttons above the two misc. description fields in Inventory Tracker has been changed again. Originally they were called Change and modified the label of the fields. Then they were changed to Edit and were used to change the contents of the fields. Then in a later version, these fields were unlocked so you could type directly into them. This made the Edit functionality redundant, so in this version the Edit buttons now change the labels once again.

* Invoice Creator's Sales Tax and Discount features improved.

* Hide Prices is now an option for all invoices.

* A secondary sort has been added to Inventory Reports.

* Non-taxable info now gets exported from Inventory Tracker.

* Improvements in most reports, especially the Tax Form Report.

* Numbers in most reports are now aligned for easier reading.

* In Schedule Tracker when you select a repeating option you are now prompted for an ending date instead of a random date being chosen.

* Improvements with the Color Preferences and updating of the colors in windows of each component.

* Default Colors are back to Light Blue buttons. Of course they can be changed to the default button style for your operating system by deselecting Button Colors in the Colors section of the Prefs screen or changed to any other color.
