Rental Property Management Software Updated
McMinnville, OR, January 17, 2007. SpiritWorks Software released a new version of their popular Rental Property Tracker Plus program today. With version 1.8.7, users have more flexibility, ease-of-use, and useful options than ever before!
New Tenant-related features include the new Fortnightly (every 14 days) rental period and the option to update balances when you click Mark Late Tenants. There is also a new Allow Duplicate Check #s option in Rental Expense Tracker.
Users can now automatically create new records in Rental Income Tracker by enabling a new option in the Payments section of Tenant Tracker. The new ACP (Auto Create Payments) button to Rental Income Tracker checks to see if any Tenant records have the new Automatically Create Payment option set and adds a new record to Rental Income Tracker (if one does not already exist) for the current rental period for those tenants. This feature is useful if the Tenant's rent is automatically deducted from their checking account.
Improvements in the Property Management Invoice offer users the option to charge Property Management Fees for All Charges (except deposits) or for Only Rent. In addition, Property Management Fees and Service Fees may now include a fraction of a percent, for example 2.5%.
For the Mac OS 10 users, several additional minor changes have been incorporated.
