If you are adding shapes Automatically (1):

First you need to decide how many Rows (2) of units you want the software to create. These can be Vertical (3) or Horizontal (4) rows and can be either Single Rows (5) or Double Rows (6).

Start by clicking the first field (2 - next to the word Create) and enter your best guess as to the number of rows. Then choose Vertical (top to bottom) or Horizontal (left to right) rows. Next choose either Single Rows or Double Rows. Double rows have even numbers on a top (or left) row and then odd numbers right below (or to the right).

Next click Create Unit Map (7). If the window is not big enough to draw the map as you have specified, you will have the option of changing the size of the window or the specifications.

You can make the shapes larger by clicking the pixels Wide (8) or pixels in Height (9) fields and entering another number. The minimum is 20 and the maximum is 50 pixels. You can also manually make the shapes any size you want.

To adjust the distance between rows, click the Gap (10) field and enter another number. The minimum is 20 and the maximum is 50 pixels. You can also manually move the shapes afterwards.

Adjust the position of the first shape in each row by clicking the pixels from Left (11) or pixels from Top (12) fields and enter another number. The minimum is 20 and the distance from the Right or Bottom edge of the window will be about the same as the Left or Top distance.

You can use the Delete All Shapes (13) button to clear the window and start over.

Click the Reset Button Locations (14) to choose which corner of the Resort Map window you want the Main Menu and Show Map Control buttons.
